Primary School Emotional Wellbeing Programme

We are a Bedford based charity with the mission of helping teachers to support the wellbeing of the pupils in their care by equipping children with the knowledge and skills to know how to stay emotionally well. The pandemic has made emotional and mental wellbeing in children more important than ever, and our Primary School Emotional Wellbeing Programme teaches them how to understand and communicate their different feelings and how to build and use resilience, which will be a lifelong benefit when they encounter challenges and bumps in the road as they move forward in life.

Our assemblies, workshops and resources give children and young people the skills and understanding to proactively navigate their mental and emotional journey through childhood into adulthood and provide a platform of learning which will enable them to embrace their mental and emotional wellbeing and make informed choices about the person they want to become.

Our Programme has a whole school approach which includes a staff induction, an emotional literacy programme for children and also information for parents/carers to continue the learning at home. We support staff with a pack of resources to easily implement and embed our strategies, enabling the children to learn how to care for their mental and emotional health and understand that it is as important as looking after their physical health.

We would love to hear from you if you are interested in the work we do.
